This couple is a match made in heaven. First of all, they both love to ride motorcycles. During their first week at Dordt College, during Freshman Orientation, they were grouped together. Kaitlyn asked her group, "Whose motorcycle is that over there, and I want to drive it!" Even though Patrick was a little obnoxious those first few days, the connection had been made, and the rest is history.
Speaking of history, they both happened to be in Rome last spring. And Patrick asked her to marry him in front of the Colosseum! He even had a photographer ready to capture the whole thing.
This shoot was so fun! They were giggly and smoochy and all the things engaged couples are supposed to be. They're just so happy!
Congratulations, Kaitlyn and Patrick! Can't wait to go to your wedding in a year!
